This article will show you how to manage application with declined or withdrawn status
To manage withdrawn or declined applicants, first, manually change their statuses either individually or in bulk. Please see this guide on how to change application status.
With the change in application status, you can keep track of your numbers by referring to the 'Application Form Statuses' widget on your main dashboard by clicking on 'A+' at the left hand side of your platform.
Here are the options for handling your declined/withdrawn applications:
-
You can completely remove/delete students so that their data will not be stored anywhere in your system.
-
You can move declined/withdrawn applications to an inactive form within your system.
- You can just simply change their application status to declined/withdrawn and retain their profiles in your current form.
To delete an account, go to the student's profile and look for the "Delete" button on the "more" dropdown.
Please note that deleting an account will remove all of its records on the system and it cannot be retrieved.
Another way to manage your declined/withdrawn applications would be to store them in a different form. This way the student's details would still be available in Admissions+ but will be moved to an inactive form.
To do this, you must create a new form by clicking on '+New Application Form' button from your Forms Area. Complete the fields from the pop up and then click 'Create Application Form'.
Please make sure that the new form is inactive by keeping the switch toggled off as shown below.
You are now ready to move your declined/withdrawn applicants to a different form. Simply go to a student's profile, click 'more' and then 'Change Application Form'.
Choose the form where you want your declined/withdrawn applications to be stored and click 'OK'.
Here's the guide on how to change the application status of the students.
