How to change application status

This guide will show you how to manually change an applicant's status, individually or in bulk.

To change the status for a single student, go into the student's profile then hover on the "Application Status" blue box and you will see different statuses (e.g. incomplete, declined & complete). If you click the 'More' button it will give you other options as well.

 

 

*Incomplete & Reset step status is used if:

  • a student has already applied previously (in another year) however they withdrew their application but have now decided to come back and re-apply
  • a student has submitted their application, but you need to allow them to go back in and make changes, without changing any settings across the whole system (eg if you want everyone else's form to remain locked, but grant this student access)

 

To change applicants status in bulk, first you'll need to go through the list or dashboard card of students that you wish to change the status of.

For example, if you would like to withdraw or decline a number of students.

Once you're on the list, you can select all the students by clicking the box beside the ID column then select 'change application status' in the above buttons.

 

 

There will be a pop up message that will show and you will have to choose from the dropdown which status you would like to change them to.

To confirm application status change, you will type the number that appears in the box below and click update button. Don't forget to refresh the page before doing another update.
