Syncing event information to SIMS
This article provides instructions on how to view event information in SIMS for specific enquirers or applicants who have registered for an event via Admissions+.
The following data will sync to the SIMS record:
- Visit type, date, time and location
- Prospective pupil or application status
- Any other visitors
- Any comments added by staff via Admissions+
- Attended or did not attend
To enable this sync, you must ensure you have ticked the “Visits” box in the “Application Data (Pre-Admission)” tab in the SIMS sync app.
Following this, when any enquirers/applicants register for an event in Admissions+, the system will update the status in SIMS under the “Visits” tab on the enquirer/applicant record.
To view further details about the event, click “Open”.
To see information about the enquirer/applicant, click on the “Prospective Pupils/Applicants’ tab. This will display their application status, any comments made via Admissions+ and display a tick if the applicant has been marked as attended in Admissions+.
To view the details of any others associated to the event booking, go to the “Other Visitors” tab:
Please note: event data from before the “Visits” property is enabled will only appear in SIMS if the student is added to the sync because other information on their application has changed (i.e. not event related). This would trigger past event data to sync to SIMS.
