Enrolment process overview

How to use the waiting list during enrolment

The waiting list function can be used if you need to defer a decision about a course, or to bypass the entry requirements for a course

In your Ready to Enrol area, click on a student to load their subject choices.

If a student has not met the entry requirements for a course, you will not be able to choose that course in the "confirm subjects" area - the waiting list allows you to bypass this in the event that you want to allow a student onto a course which they don't qualify for.

Find the course in the "add to waiting list" column and select it.

This will add the student onto the waiting list for that course, and you will see a tick and cross - tick to approve the student onto that course and cross to decline.

Once it's on the waiting list area, you will then be able to add that course in the "confirm subjects" column and proceed with the enrolment process.

You do not have to approve or decline waiting list decisions straight away - you can revisit them later on when you are ready to make decisions.
