How to quickly view student references

This article explains how you can check student's references without having to open up each student's profile and navigate to the reference section.

To check on students without having to check each profile navigate to Registered students > Completed Applications (because they'll be tagged as completed once their references are done). 

Note: you may also want to filter external students only, as they're likely the only ones that you have requested references for. 


You'll then get a list of all the students who have their references completed - you might just need to scroll a bit to the right of the table in order to see the status of their references. 

If you click on the action button it will bring you to the reference in another tab and you may just repeat this to check on other students with references completed.



 

You can also view an applicant's reference record from their student profile. You can either search for the student via the search bar at the top of the page: 

Or you can find the student by clicking into Registered Students and then typing in the "Search in table" field for the student you need. Once you have found the student, you can click on their name, in blue, and it will take you through to the student profile: 

 

In the student profile you will need to click on Application Form and then Reference: 

There, you can click to Open reference record or click to view the uploaded file, if you allow referees to provide an uploaded document instead. 



You can also filter applications based on responses provided in reference forms, making it easier to review and compare applicants using reference feedback. This allows you to narrow down applications based on areas such as subject suitability, attendance, punctuality, effort and attitude to learning, behaviour, risk indicators, and English proficiency. These filters can be combined with existing application filters, giving you more flexibility and precision when reviewing applicants.

You can apply filters when creating a dashboard tile or when viewing your students in a list from the registered students page.
