How to edit Student Homepage (Post-16)

This article will show you how you can customise the student homepage. The student homepage is typically used in Year 12 forms.

Navigate to 'Settings' > 'Form Settings' > 'Student Homepage'.

Please note that the student homepage is only visible to students who are logging in. If your application form is set to allow parents to log in, parents will only see the parent homepage.

 

On the Student Homepage, a configuration option on how the student's name will be displayed is available.

If you select "preferred forename or first name", they will be greeted by their preferred name if they have supplied one, or it will default to their legal first name if they have not provided a preference. 

You can also edit/customise the welcome message and image by clicking on the 'Edit' button, and you can also see how this will look to a student by clicking the "Preview" button. 

Note: This message and image will only be seen by students logging in to complete the form you are currently working on (settings are not applied across multiple forms or intakes). 


Once you have set your message and image, you can also choose which settings to activate in order to customise what information is displayed on the student homepage when a student logs in. 


  • Show Student Code will display the unique code assigned to each applicant when their account is created; it is a unique identifier set by your Admissions+ system. 

 

  • Show School Name in Landing Page allows you to display your school name when a student logs in.

 

  • Show Courses You Wish To Study will display the subjects chosen by an applicant.

 

  • Show Application Status will display the status of the student's form, for example "Complete" or "Incomplete".
  • Show Offer Status will display whether a student has been made an offer, and if so, whether they have accepted it.
  • Show Reference Status will display whether a reference request has been sent, and whether the reference has been completed.

 

  • Show Documents in Homepage enables you to display any documents you have added to your Uploaded Documents area.


  • Show Year of Entry will display the year that the student is expecting to start at your setting.
  • Show Term of Entry is useful if you have students joining you at various points throughout the year, rather than only a September intake. Students can specify Autumn, Spring or Summer for their term of entry and this answer will be displayed on the student homepage if this is switched on and the question is active in your application form. 

 

  • Show Year Group Applied for will display the year group that a student is applying to join.
  • Show Application Form displays the name of the form to the student, so they can see which application form they are completing. 
  • Show Academic Years displays the academic year that the application form relates to. 




    There are also several additional features that you can view in the New Interface. 


  • You can view upcoming events.
  • You can view Calendar and details that you have per day. Views can be changed from Month, Week or Day view. 

 

  • Another feature is the Messages. Student's can view all communications and emails sent to them. They can also see which phase they have completed so far.
