When a parent is added or registered in the bursary system, a profile is created for them and linked to their child(ren)'s profile(s). You can access these profiles to perform various actions.
You can access a list of all registered parents from the Parents & Enquiries icon in the left-hand menu of your system.
Actions You Can Perform on a Parent's Profile:
- Send an email or SMS (Note: SMS is available only if you have subscribed to Esendex).
- Impersonate a parent – This allows you to access their homepage as if you were them, enabling you to view their perspective and edit application forms on their behalf.
- Add a student – If the parent has another child joining your school and their profile has not yet been created, use this function to add the child and link them to the correct parent.
- Add an enquiry child - allows you to add children who are in the inquiry stage but have not yet applied or enrolled. It helps track prospective students and link them to a parent’s profile for future follow-ups or application processing.
- Print a parent's profile for record-keeping.
- Reset a parent's password – If they have lost their login credentials or are experiencing issues, you can reset their password. (They can also reset it themselves using the "Forgot your password" option on the login page.)
- Confirm a parent’s account – If a parent has created an account but hasn't verified their email, you can manually confirm their account so they can log in.
- Check communication logs – View emails sent to the parent, including their status (e.g., delivered, opened, clicked), ensuring all correspondence is tracked.
- Delete a parent's profile – If the parent has declined a place for their child or their account was created in error, you can remove their data.
Additional Features:

- The Activities section provides a date and time-stamped record of the parent's actions within the system (e.g., logging in or completing specific form sections).
- The Events tab displays any events the parent has registered to attend.
